Fear will define your whole life, if you let it.
Fear will back you into a tiny corner of the room, and keep you cowering there forever, if you let it.
But when you decide that you’re not going to let fear rule you, a whole new world of possibility opens up.
When you make the conscious decision that your life is going to change for the better, and back that decision with daily practice, your brain has to cooperate. That’s when you start to see what COULD be, what you CAN become, and what WILL begin to change in your life.
It’s just exactly like making a decision to get in shape.
First, you set a goal such as “I’m going to walk a 5K this Spring”.
Then, each day, you get out and walk for 15 minutes. After a couple of weeks, you add a few minutes. Then a couple weeks later, maybe you work at walking a bit faster.
The key is to practice EVERY DAY.
When you’re training your brain, you don’t even have to get out of bed!
But you DO have to practice EVERY DAY.
And when you’re feeling lazy, and you don’t want to put in the effort, you stop and remind yourself how good a feeling that will be when you finished that first 5K.
You don’t quit after three days because you don’t see results yet.
You keep doing it.
And doing it.
And doing it.
Until you get to that goal.
Let your fear go. Fire it! Tell it to go bother someone else. EVERY day. Until it finally gives up that space to joy. And love. And understanding. And peace.
And celebrate your new life, with every possibility open to you.
