A Course in Miracles Experiment (by Pam Grout) Day 50

“I am sustained by Love from the Divine Source.”

Do you know any cats?  Cats are a love ’em or hate ’em pet.  Either you can’t live without one, or you can’t stand to have one around at all.

But a cat is a perfect example of how to live in the moment, sustained by whatever comes.

Cats don’t (generally) worry about what’s going to happen tomorrow, or even later today.  Cats don’t apparently worry about anything.

Cats go through life, expecting that the Divine (or you, as its representative) will take care of their every want and need.

And mostly, we human slaves meet or exceed those expectations.

We keep the food and water dishes full, clean out the litter box regularly, and occasionally provide entertainment in the form of a new toy.

Why should a cat worry?

We should emulate the cat and re-learn how to live completely in the moment.  What good does worrying do, anyway?  It just pulls your energy into a downward spiral, sucking your whole life along with it, until you have no positive thoughts left.

Worry distracts you from appreciation of what you actually have right now.  It prevents you from living in this blessed moment of NOW.  It’s not constructive.

Be like a cat today.

Remind yourself four times today that the Divine WILL take care of you, just like we take care of our cats, but better.

Everything you need will be provided, if you make the space for it.

Loosen your grip on the negativity in your head, and let it go.

And then, look out!  Positivity will start to take over, and turn your life upside-down.

Have a blessed day today!
