A Course in Miracles Experiment (by Pam Grout) Day 61

You are the light of this world.

Your reason for being is to be a light, to help others find their way out of darkness, so they can be a light as well.

The Bible admonishes us not to hide our light under a basket, not to keep it to ourselves, but to let it shine forth.

Every time the selfish, idiot voice in your head makes some negative statement, it’s trying to get you to hide your light.  It’s trying to convince you that you aren’t good enough, smart enough, beautiful enough – but you KNOW now that’s BS.

BS has it’s place (in the compost pile).  The place for BS, you’ll notice, is NOT in your head, your home, or your heart, but outside in a pile, cooking itself into something useful.

Toss the BS out where it belongs, and fill the space with thoughts that make your light burn brighter.  Thoughts like “I’m an amazing person”. Thoughts like “I’m really good at this!”.  Thoughts like “I CAN do this, I am creating this, I am helping this person”.

Start thinking BIG today.

What’s your biggest dream?

Don’t worry about how you’re going to make it happen. That’s NOT your job.

Just daydream.  Every bit of time you spend on your dream (even just thinking about how awesome it will be when you’re on that vacation, going to that workshop, driving that new car) draws that dream closer to you.

No, it’s not “common sense” .

Even Albert Einstein didn’t like how this stuff works.

But Quantum Theory says that there doesn’t have to be a cause and effect relationship that we can identify.

It’s not our job to figure out how to make things happen.

It’s our job to share the light, create positivity in and around us,  and to be joyful when those dreams come true.

Be joyful today.  Be ALIVE.  Shine out and share your light.

Be blessed today, and stay safe.
