A Course in Miracles Experiment (by Pam Grout) Day 62

Are you stuck at home today?

Are you one of the many people trying to do “work from home”, perhaps with only the vaguest idea of how to actually produce something while the kids, the cat and your spouse all share your space?

Think of it as an adventure, complete with family atmosphere, lots of drama, and maybe throw in a delivery pizza for lunch.

The Universe is definitely up to something here.  We aren’t allowed to know what.  We don’t get to choose the end results for everyone.  But we do get, moment by moment, the choice of how we act or react.

My question for you is, what part will you play in today’s adventure-at-home?

Will you play into the drama, lose your temper, shout at someone today?  Will you call for calm, and lovingly explain that everyone in the household has “work”, whether for school or a paying job?

Will you buckle down and get “it” done, so the Divine can reach down and touch your life?

Will you deliberately turn off the TV, concentrate on what you “have” to do, so then you can move on to what the Universe wants you to do?

It’s your choice.  You’re not alone, either, if you’re experiencing some hardship trying to make things work that haven’t had a lot of air-time in your life.

But you CAN make it work.  Think about the positives here.  You don’t have to drive the car and curse the traffic.  You don’t have to make your lunch before you head for work.  You can probably sleep in a bit, too.

Enjoy this time at home with the people you love!  Be gracious, kind and tolerant.  Even if you have to hide in the bathroom to catch your breath.

Make room for that infamous “Divine Inspiration” , and when it hits, grab it, jump in and hang on for the ride.  It’s scary, but amazing, like a rollercoaster, and you don’t know where you’ll be able to get off.

But I guarantee, it’ll be worth your while!
